It's a new time of year for the Walk4OC! The walk has been changed from fall to spring. Either way it's time to get ready to walk, run, and/or donate to a great cause, 4 Alzheimer's Orange County and Team Del's - Always in my Heart! You will note, this year I wasn't able to get the Regents Point Team together but I still wanted to participate even though I won't be able to walk this year. I still want others to virtual walk, run, and/or donote in memory of my mother Dolores "Del". Mark your calendar for Saturday, April 1, 2023!
As most of you know, this walk/run is very special to me as I walk and raise funds in memory of my mother, Dolores, who was challenged with the horrible disease of Alzheimer's for more than 15 years. Our family does not wish anyone to go through what we did!
So...this year I created a new group "Team Del" and we'll be virtual walking/running/ donating in my mom's memory. And, for those at Regents Point that are or have been affected by this horrible disease or any other forms of Dementia.
The year's fun walk/run is only 1 mile which you can do wherever you are. Just sign up and do it! 1 mile; come on! Don't forget to send me pictures!
