We are a team of future social workers who are passionate about raising awareness for Alzheimer’s Disease and other dementias. In accordance with social work ethics, we recognize our need to advocate for vulnerable populations, support meaningful relationships, and enhance the dignity and worth of each individual. Support for Orange County’s dementia-related population is a cause that deserves more traction! This year, The Social Walkers aim to empower these individuals and their caregivers by virtually walking, spreading awareness, and fundraising!
